What conditions are treated at eyesight school?

In the classic eyesight school, we treat the following visual defects:

• myopie
  short-sightedness = near vision is better
• hyperopia
  long-sightedness = distant vision is better
• Astigmatismus
  a type of refractive error in which the eye fails to focus light evenly on the retina, classic double contours occur
• strabismus (squinting)
• congenital vision problems
